Princess Kate enjoyed some delicious items off the menu when she would visit The Old Boot Inn, which is located near to her parentsâ home in Bucklebury, Berkshire
The Princess of Wales is known to whip up some delicious home cooked meals for her family. But occasionally, she likes to dine out in a cosy pub.
William, Kate, and their three children have been known to eat out on a number of occasions, always managing to keep a low-profile despite their royal status.
One of the Princessâs favourite eateries is said to be the Old Boot Inn, located in Stanford Dingley, a village in Berkshire close to her hometown of Bucklebury where her parents still live.
And according to one of the pubâs former chefs, Kate has been known to indulge in some seriously delicious-sounding items on the menu.
Speaking to People around the time of the royal wedding, Rody Warot said: âKate is always discreet and has always complimented the dishes with great kindness.
âHer favourite [dishes] are the pate on toasted brioche or the roast figs on parma ham with spicy apple chutney, followed by the tiger prawn and wild mushroom linguine,â he added. âAnd for the [dessert], her favourite is sticky toffee pudding. Itâs moist and spongy.â
When it comes to food at home, Kate reportedly loves to cook Italian food with her children.
During a visit to Lavender Primary School, the royal told Matthew Kleiner-Mann they often rustle up a comforting bowl of mac ânâ cheese.
He said: âShe was telling us how much her children love cooking and how they cook for her. They made cheesy pasta the other day. One stirs the flour, one puts the milk and butter in. And they make salads and stuff.â
Kate is also a fan of making homemade pizza from scratch with the help of the kids, who are said to love getting âtheir hands messyâ while making the dough.
Over the years, Kate has spoken about her fondness for curry, even revealing that it is her favourite takeaway.
On a trip to Birmingham, the royal said she âloves curries and spiceâ, while her husband, Prince William, admitted he preferred milder options, telling onlookers, âI am a masala man.â He added: âCatherine can eat itâ but said of himself trying to eat the dish âI start sweating!â
