DISASTER: Joe Kent’s resignation is making bigger shock waves wider than expected, out of Trump’s control, splitting MAGA to its core. And he can’t contain it.
When Joe Kent walked away from his role as the nation’s top counterterrorism official over the Iran war, Trump’s orbit tried to brush it off as nothing. Just noise. Just another insider exit. But it didn’t stay small.
Within 36 hours, Kent was on Tucker Carlson’s massive platform.
Then Candace Owens elevated him again at a Trump Hotel event.
What was supposed to disappear instantly turned into a rallying point.
The anti war right grabbed it and ran, and now the fracture inside MAGA is out in the open.
The White House is still pretending this is irrelevant.
Spokeswoman Davis Ingle called Kent’s claims “self-aggrandizing” and “riddled with lies.” She insisted, “The president does not make these incredibly important national security decisions based on fluid opinion polls or podcast hosts, but on the best interest of the American people.”
But the numbers tell a different story. Support for the Iran strikes is already slipping, even among Trump’s own base.
And insiders are warning this isn’t going away. One conservative voice admitted dismissing Kent carries a “clear risk.” Another warned ignoring these voters is “kind of silly.”
This is a developing story — just the beginning of a MAGA crack Trump can’t repair.
