BREAKING: Reza Pahlavi Declares Regime’s End: “Any Successor Is Doomed – Victory Is Near”
In a powerful video message released March 5, 2026, exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi — son of Iran’s last Shah — delivered a direct challenge to the collapsing Islamic Republic following the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
He bluntly rejected any attempt to install a successor, naming potential figures like Mojtaba Khamenei (the late leader’s son) and Hassan Khomeini (grandson of founder Ruhollah Khomeini) as illegitimate:
“Any attempt to appoint a successor for him is pre-destined to fail. Whomever is introduced—be it Mojtaba or Hassan—will lack legitimacy and will be considered an accomplice to the bloody record of this regime and its criminal leaders, Khomeini and Khamenei.”
Pahlavi insisted the Islamic Republic has zero legitimacy left and is in freefall. He positioned his proposed “Transition System” (outlined in the “Emergency Phase” booklet of the Iran Prosperity Project) as the only valid path forward, with details and members to be rolled out soon.
He issued a clear appeal to regime insiders not complicit in bloodshed:
“To all former and current officials of the Islamic Republic whose hands are not stained with the blood of the nation: Respect the will of the people. Hand over power immediately and without violence; declare your allegiance to the nation’s Lion and Sun Revolution, and contribute to Iran’s stable and secure transition to a democratically elected national government.”
Turning to the world, he urged global recognition:
“To the international community, I say: Stand with the people of Iran. Declare the Islamic Republic illegitimate and recognize the Transition System as the representative of the nation’s will.”
The message closed on a defiant, hopeful note:
“Victory is near. The Iranian nation will be liberated and will remember those who stood by its side during these times of hardship.
Long live Iran.”
Pahlavi’s statement comes amid reports of regime infighting, hacked state TV broadcasts, and growing calls — including from some international figures — for a clean break from the current system. The exiled prince is framing himself as a bridge to democracy, not a return to monarchy, urging a peaceful, people-led handover.
