Donald Trump has said that the US would be selling what he described as a “gold card” to wealthy foreigners.

said the gold card will give wealthy foreigners the right to live and work in the US, offering a path to citizenship in exchange for a $5 million fee.

The US President made the announcement on Tuesday during a media availability in the Oval Officrump announced that the sale of the gold cards will begin in about two weeks, suggesting that millions of such cards could be sold.

“From the legal standpoint, it’s totally legal to do,” the President said.

Asked whether he would consider selling the cards to Russian oligarchs, Trump responded: “Yeah, possibly. I know some Russian oligarchs that are very nice people.”e.
