Princess Beatrice could “initiate peace” between Prince William and Prince Harry and there is “no doubt” she has already attempted to bridge their divide, a former royal butler has claimed.
The Duke of Sussex, 39, and Prince of Wales’, 42, once close relationship was destroyed when Harry quit royal life and moved to California with wife Meghan Markle and their two children Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.
The Wales’ are understood to have virtually no relationship with their niece or nephew, after the Duke lobbed multiple grenades at the firm including accusations William physically attacked him during an argument about Meghan’s treatment by the monarchy.
Tensions reportedly escalated last month when Harry in an interview with ITV broke a promise with William by publicly speaking about their mother Princess Diana, alleging there was proof her phone was hacked by the British press before her death in 1997.
Former royal butler Grant Harrold on Wednesday said Beatrice, 35, is a key member of the firm who could convince William and Harry to mend their years’ long rift as there’s “no doubt” she has already tried.
“I have no doubt she would have spoken to the two brothers at some point to try to improve the situation,” Mr Harrold told FruitySlots.com.
“Beatrice could act as a peacemaker for Harry, William and Charles.
“She would be someone to initiate peace in the family. She’s close to both William and Harry, as well as the King – and they trust her.
“It would be her out of anyone else – but she wouldn’t want to be too involved. She would try to be careful.”

Asked to describe the Princess’ relationship with her first cousins, the insider said the 35-year-old has a strong bond with both William and Harry.
“Their relationship is fun and natural. It’s never changed,” he said.
“They always have a lot of jokes together and can have a laugh. They’re friends and that is what’s nice about it.
“They’re cousins, but they’re close and have each other’s backs. They do spend a lot of time together.
“She’s also close to her uncle, King Charles… She gets on well with all the family and is known for being approachable and trustworthy.”
Beatrice is said to be currently supporting William through a difficult year navigating crisis talks with Harry and solo engagements amid Charles and Princess Catherine’s dual cancer battles.

A source told Britain’s GB News the Princess may be set to take on a more official role as a working royal as she becomes more present in the family from keeping a low profile merely a few years ago.
“Beatrice stepped up to represent the Royal Family at mental health week recently which is an event Kate would have attended,” the source said.
“She’s also been taking the lead at public occasions like the Cheltenham Festival and other family gatherings which is a clear sign of her taking on more royal responsibility.”
Beatrice and her sister Princess Eugenie, 34, are the daughters of the King’s brother Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah, Duchess of York.
