Though Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift wasn’t in attendance in Pittsburgh, she turned heads with her social media activity after Kelce’s accomplishment.
The Chiefs posted a congratulatory message to Kelce on Instagram, as did the official account of his “New Heights” podcast. Fans noticed Swift, who doesn’t post on social media much, liked both posts.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is one of the more decorated tight ends in NFL history.
With three Super Bowl championships, seven All-Pro selections and nine Pro Bowls, Kelce’s resume is second-to-none. He holds several NFL records: single-season receiving yards by a tight end (1,416), 100-yard games by a tight end (38 regular season, 46 overall), 1,000-yard seasons by a tight end (seven), career postseason receptions (165), and career postseason receiving yards by a tight end (1,903). He added one more on Wednesday.
It was Kelce’s third touchdown of the season and his first since KC’s Week 10 win against the Denver Broncos.
