Tommy Fury’s ‘last ditch attempt to save relationship’ with Molly-Mae before split bombshell

Molly-Mae and Tommy, both 25, announced in separate statements on Wednesday that they have separated. The former couple – who met on Love Island in 2019 – both said that their daughter Bambi, one, remains their “priority”.
The news comes following their fifth anniversary just last month. And more recently, they had celebrated the one year anniversary of their engagement, with both Molly-Mae and Tommy having marked the occasion on July 23.

Tommy bought her a bouquet of roses and lillies for the anniversary. With the gesture just weeks before the news of their break-up, it has now been suggested that it might have been a “last ditch attempt to save the relationship.

As reported by the Sun, Molly-Mae shared footage of her fiance delivering the large bouquet to her shortly after their anniversary. She teased: “Proud of himself.” And alongside a photo of the flowers, she wrote: “1 year as a fiancée.

The outlet reports there’s speculation that it could have been a moment of Tommy trying to “salvage their crumbling relationship”. It referenced a Daily Mail article that, in the wake of their separation, questioned: “Was this [his] last ditch attempt to keep [their relationship] going?”
Just days after Molly-Mae had shared footage of Tommy presenting her with the bouquet, she teased that he had supported her amid a significant day in her career. Amid a project, she said: “Waited for today for a VERY long time.”
