In a bizarre turn of events at Mar-a-Lago, former President Donald Trump abruptly ended an interview after being fact-checked mid-sentence, shouting, *”Don’t do that. You can’t do that!”*
The interview, conducted by up-and-coming journalist Casey Bluestone, started calmly before descending into chaos when Bluestone corrected Trump on U.S. job growth statistics.
“I picked you to do the interview because frankly, I’d never heard of you,” Trump said, visibly agitated. “But you’re not being very nice. You’re breaking the sacred code of interviewing — no fact-checking during my sentences.”
Trump then allegedly called his assistant to “banish” Bluestone from the premises, claiming the journalist was “disrespecting the aura of greatness.”
The incident has sparked internet memes and a new trend on social media called #SacredInterviewCode, with users posting imaginary Trump rules such as:
“Interviewers must smile at all times.””No interrupting unless it’s to compliment me.”
“All facts must be approved by Mar-a-Lago legal.”
Neither Trump nor Bluestone have commented further, though sources claim Trump is now interviewing his own reflection for future media appearances.
