The nine months are almost up, and it’s almost time for Hailey Bieber to welcome her and Justin’s baby. But wait…did she already give birth?

Fans speculated that Hailey Bieber had already given birth after the couple made a cryptic post on her Instagram story. “We have a surprise!” she wrote as the caption on August 20, with a side-eye emoji and a pink bow. It lines up to when her due date actually is, but it might just be something Rhode related. The Rhode Beauty founder revealed that she was six months pregnant with her baby about three months before she posted the Instagram story.

Hailey was elated to share the news on her Instagram on Thursday, May 8, 2024, with a sweet Instagram carousel featuring a pregnancy shoot with her husband Justin embracing her.

Hailey hasn’t revealed if she’s given birth just quite yet. But privacy is something that she and Justin treasure a lot.

She confessed that she could have hidden the fact from the public in a long time. “I probably could have hid it until the end,” she told W Magazine in a cover story in July 2024, but added she “didn’t enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy outwardly. I felt like I was hiding this big secret, and it didn’t feel good,” she added. “I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.”

A source close to the couple revealed that they were super happy when they found out the news privately. “When they found out that Hailey was pregnant, it was just the best day for them,” the source told People. They have both been very emotional about it. They feel so blessed. They’ve also felt very protective of the baby from the moment they found out.”

The source continued that “they shared with family and close friends early on. It was important for them to keep it quiet and just enjoy for as long as possible before they publicly confirmed though. They asked their friends to not share until they were ready to announce.”

Keeping announcements private has been a healthy habit for the Biebers. When Justin first proposed to Hailey, they tried to hide the announcement for a while, but the paps caught on. He captioned his Instagram post, “Was gonna wait a while to say anything but word travels fast, listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you! So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindly.” They married in a courthouse wedding in September 2018, just four months after reuniting and two months after announcing their engagement. A year later, they celebrated their love again at their second wedding in South Carolina.
