Jeremy Clarkson’s glamorous new farmhand Harriet Cowan’s boyfriend is a fellow farmer she met at a Young Farmers’ meeting, MailOnline can reveal.
Harriet, 24, and James Booth have been dating for ‘some time’, according to the Clarkson’s Farm star’s stepsister Elina Clifford.
James lives with his father Peter Booth, a well-known and respected farmer in the community, and his mum Andrea, in a secluded home in Nether Heage, situated between Belper and Ripley – just four miles from Harriet’s house in Crich, Derbyshire.
Earlier this month, MailOnline revealed nurse and part-time farmer Harriet has a fractious relationship with her family, namely stepsisters Elina and Maddie – her father Eddy Cowan’s children with Harriet’s stepmother, Vicky.
And despite the pair not seeing eye-to-eye with Harriet, they have given her boyfriend James a glowing endorsement.
Speaking to MailOnline, Elina said: ‘I’ve met James a few times, he’s alright, he’s lovely but not sure what he is doing with Harriet.
