Former Trump campaign attorney **Jenna Ellis** has pleaded guilty in the Georgia election interference case, acknowledging her role in efforts to challenge the results of the 2020 presidential election. The plea marks another significant development in the sweeping prosecution tied to attempts to overturn President Joe Biden’s victory in the state.

As part of the agreement, Ellis accepted responsibility for her actions and agreed to cooperate with prosecutors, including the possibility of testifying truthfully in future proceedings if called. In exchange, she received a reduced sentence that avoids prison time, according to court filings.

The case, brought by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, centers on allegations that former President Donald Trump and several allies engaged in a coordinated effort to unlawfully reverse Georgia’s election outcome. Trump has pleaded not guilty to all charges and has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing, calling the case politically motivated.

Reaction to Ellis’s plea was swift and mixed. Legal analysts say her cooperation could strengthen the prosecution’s case by providing insider testimony about the strategy and decision-making behind post-election actions. Trump allies, meanwhile, criticized the plea deal and continued to defend the former president, while some supporters expressed surprise at Ellis’s decision.

The proceedings remain ongoing, with pretrial motions and potential testimony expected to shape the case in the months ahead.

Time to revisit the question. With some distance and perspective, do you support Donald Trump’s decision to move against Venezuelan strongman Nicolás Maduro? Supporters argue it was a firm stand against authoritarianism, corruption, and human rights abuses. Critics warn about escalation and foreign entanglements. Either way, it highlights a broader debate about America’s role in confronting dictators abroad. Where do you stand now? 👇

Kaitlin Collins is a badass. A journalist that’s not afraid to ask pertinent questions and doesn’t allow crooked politicians to demean her. She is also a wonderful role model for young women and girls. That’s way more than we can say about anyone in the White House in 2026.
