Tense Moment as Trump and Dana White Briefly Escorted to Safety After Reported Gunshots Near UFC Freedom 250 Event
WASHINGTON, D.C. — A moment of celebration quickly turned tense during the fictional UFC Freedom 250 event on Saturday evening when security personnel reportedly escorted President Donald Trump and UFC CEO Dana White to a secure location after sounds believed to be gunshots were heard near the White House grounds.
The star-studded event, organized to commemorate Trump’s 80th birthday, had attracted high-profile guests from the worlds of sports, entertainment, and politics. Witnesses described a brief period of confusion as Secret Service agents and event security swiftly implemented safety protocols.
Attendees were instructed to remain calm while security teams assessed the situation. Within minutes, officials confirmed that Trump, White, and other VIP guests were safe and unharmed. The event was temporarily paused as law enforcement conducted a precautionary investigation in the surrounding area.
Videos circulating online showed guests being directed away from certain sections of the venue, though no injuries were immediately reported. Organizers later thanked security personnel for their rapid response and professionalism.
Following the security review, portions of the event resumed, with attendees applauding the coordinated efforts of law enforcement and emergency responders. Authorities stated that an investigation into the source of the reported gunshots was ongoing.
The incident served as a reminder of the extensive security measures required for major public gatherings involving prominent public figures, particularly in locations of national significance.
